Western CT Well Pump Specialists

Do you have no water from your well or does your well pump run with no water pressure? Low pressure can be caused by many things:

  • clogged aerators in your faucets
  • a plugged sediment filter
  • pressure switch that's malfunctioning
  • a broken pipe in your well
  • dry well with no water
  • a worn-out, old well pump

We get your water running back fast!

What kind of well pump should you use? There are two basic types of well pumps: jet pumps and submersible pumps. We do recommend submersible pumps in most cases but we can install or repair either type.

  • Jet pumps draw water instead of push it-generate only 50 psi.
  • Submersible well pumps make 30% more pressure than jet pumps.
  • Submersibles are much easier to service.
  • Jet pumps can be noisy if located in the house or pump shack.
  • A submersible pump “pushes” the water rather than drawing or sucking the water up to the surface using less energy!
  • A submersible pump delivers more volume and better pressure with no noise at all and neve needs priming.
  • The submersible pump has a sealed motor and pump. It makes well maintenance easy.
  • The life expectancy of a submersible pump is the longest.
  • Submersible pumps can operate efficiently regardless of the depth of the water well. They provide better value for your dollar!

Mechanical inspections are recommended yearly by a licensed or certified water well contractor. A well pump installed by Rodger Craig should last for many years. Choose the local well pump company that western Connecticut has trusted for years!
